Ingredients
Bread
- 6 tbsp butter, softened
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 cups Revival Mill Infused Lavender Flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Lemon Glaze
- ⅔ cup powdered sugar
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour one 9×5-inch loaf pan, or three small (3½×6-inch) loaf pans.
- In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and lemon zest until light and fluffy. Mix in milk, yogurt and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together lavender flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing just until blended.
- Pour batter into prepared pan(s).
- Bake for 45–50 minutes for a standard loaf or 30 minutes for small pans, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While bread is still hot, poke 6–8 small holes in the top of each loaf with a fork. Stir together glaze ingredients and spoon over hot loaves.
- Cool in pan for 20 minutes, then remove to a wire rack. Cool completely before slicing.
