Ingredients

Bread

  • 6 tbsp butter, softened
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups Revival Mill Infused Lavender Flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Lemon Glaze

  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour one 9×5-inch loaf pan, or three small (3½×6-inch) loaf pans.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and lemon zest until light and fluffy. Mix in milk, yogurt and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together lavender flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing just until blended.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan(s).
  5. Bake for 45–50 minutes for a standard loaf or 30 minutes for small pans, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. While bread is still hot, poke 6–8 small holes in the top of each loaf with a fork. Stir together glaze ingredients and spoon over hot loaves.
  7. Cool in pan for 20 minutes, then remove to a wire rack. Cool completely before slicing.
