With just wheat, yeast, salt, baking powder, pepper, and seasoning — no additives, no preservatives — you’ll mix it with warm water, let it rest, then press it into your pan and top it however you like. Baked at 400°F, it emerges golden and aromatic, with a tender crumb and just enough rustic character to remind you where it came from.
Baking Instructions
Makes 2 batches. Multiply all ingredients per batch desired.
ONE BATCH (1 THICK-CRUST PIZZA)
Combine 1 3/4 cups pizza mix with 3/4 cup warm water and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Mix until just combined.
- Rest dough for 10 minutes to hydrate the flour and make it easier to shape.
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Grease your pan and press dough out evenly to desired thickness.
- Optional: Let shaped dough rise 15–20 minutes for a lighter, airier crust.
