Baking Tip for Drop Biscuits
To keep your biscuits light and tender, avoid overmixing the dough. Once the milk and butter are stirred in, stop as soon as the ingredients come together—lumps are perfectly fine. Overworking activates the gluten in the flour, which can make biscuits tough. A gentle hand ensures biscuits bake up soft, flaky, and golden every time.
